Hells yeah.

And Homeslice, what I think he means is, by that age they SHOULD have a clear understanding of right and wrong.

Hopefully that scarred the little fucker for life. Good for the dad. Not the smartest way to go about it though as mentioned above..

Not really. The police are taking care of the man that threatened him and no one is taking any action against lil' Alonzo. He gets to laugh with his friends about how the Dad went to jail, his parents will give him the victim treatment, and his bad behavior will be further reinforced.

If the father had faced no punishment or consequence for boarding the bus, or if the school/authorities stood behind his decision to board then obviously it sends a different message to the bully, but that's never going to happen.

Exactly the point that I was trying to make, earlier in the thread.

Just a matter of time. I'm sure some lawyers are already blowing their phone up wanting some cash and publicity.

There needs to be a foundation like the ACLU except they protect people who stand up for themselves or others. Even this man, despite that he really shouldn't have done what he did. Just to send a message to others that people really do respect those who stand up for themselves and others.

Agreed but some lowlife lawyer will get in their ear and tell em they can make millions. They wont sue the father because he doesnt have a lot of money, they will go after the school and school bus co because they have deeper pockets.
