After reading about a fellow triple enthuiast almost hitting an idiot that pulled out in front of him, I'm upgrading the front brakes. '73 was the first year for front disk brakes and although they're better than double shoe drums, they still suck.

I just scored a front disk brake set up off ebay from a '97 ex500. Just a simple bracket and it'll bolt right up.

Front caliper for $10 and the master cylinder for $26

this is badass-being a fellow old kawi nut- im enjoying this. and you're a machinist too? might hit u up for some help on my stuff-my kawi is in pieces-might need to borrow your cnc skills lol

Dont know how I missed this before but its good to see this thread make it over.

And Im impressed by the rob and big reference gas, one of my favorite shows on tv.
