Default I need some opinions on changing the color of my 06 1KRR?

I just bought an 06 CBR1000RR, it’s in mint condition, 1035 miles, and a ton of bolt on mods. I got a great price on it but the only problem is the color. It’s the blue and yellow model and I absolutely hate that color scheme. I had the all black model 07 1kRR last year and loved it, but unfortunately it was knocked over and I sold it. I’m thinking about painting this one all back and having the swing arm, rear sets and heel guard’s powder coated black. The only thing holding me back at this point is that I’m afraid it will hurt my re-sale value when I go to sell the bike. Typically people tend to think that if the bike is painted it’s been crashed and been down.

What do you guys think, give me some opinions???????

1035 miles??? I say you paint it to match the garage! No wait, paint it with bug guts while you give it some real miles!

J/K in mate! Not trying to bust your balls, just funnin'.

As for your paint job when your going custom paint the thing is to be different. Race rep paint schemes can be cool but they are also tricky. I say you just give it a nice contrasting color job the no one sees everyday.

Maybe an emerald green, go with black and silver hi-lites, or a tasty deep marroon with bass boat sparkles?

I'm with Dave. Buy aftermarket and paint them.
