i'll be interested to see how prop 19 did in the morning. just checked and it's down 55-45 or something like that but only 17% of precincts reporting.

Prop 19 isn't going to pass...its currently 60/40 against/for. The problem is every politician is against it (I guess it isn't a family thing).

It's getting higher and higher support each year though...

My hope is that the GOP remembers that they are winning not because of their social policy but simply because between Obamacare and Obama incredibly irresponsible spending. GOP you got my Vote this time Stay out of our Bodies and Bedrooms

This is actually the way I like things with the exception of the senate. Heavily influenced republican policy is the only way it leaves congress, but the democrat president will veto anything too extremist. It forces them to be centrist or they can't do shit to us. I think it works better than democrat congress/republican president.

I'm glad Pelosi is out though I'm not some idiot who paints her as some sort of demonic entity. She just did poor job of running things and got caught up in the us vs them (Its just like football or wrestling - we have to win win win!!) bullshit the Republicans love so much.

I'm also not a registered Republican so I'm not dancing in the streets for them either but closer to that party than I am the Democrats.
