FYI: Unless MTA's (Motorcycle Tires & Accessories) has changed their policy in the last year, they're a distibutor and don't sell to the general public.
Hmmm...odd...they dropped their line of Maxxis street tires. More info on the tires on their website: http://www.fullboretires.com/ I found a review on a CBR forum. Ack! Owned by VS....I'm not linking. Anyway, a mechanic on there said that he hasn't used them, but has mounted them on some bikes and the feedback has been pretty good. Wouldn't recommend them for track, but for street, they're more bang for you buck (his words). He says their compound is similar to Shinko's. Another review I found: http://www.mimag.com/motorcycle_tire...ember_2008.htm

Shinko's are decent tires. BF uses them at the dragstrip, and has still gotten many road miles out of them.
And to cover my backside, I don't exactly know how many miles, I think around 7k. |
