then later I got into being able to see the power plant and switched to drooling over nekkid bikes.

My experience is similar. I grew up watching chinese tv that had girls riding motorcycles and I knew as soon as I was able I would be riding. My cousin's boyfriend took me riding on the back of his GSXR1000 when I was 14 and since then I always loved the GSXR's, any size, I just loved the blue and white paint scheme.

Not exactly sure how it happened, but I started liking the naked bikes. First one I really drooled over was the BMW Dakar. I saw a Z1000 at the dealership and also drooled over that. After I got licensed, I saw a 2nd gen SVS and fell in love with it. The SV650S became my 2nd bike and the SV650 naked became my 4th.

I always thought it was odd that Honda took the F4i back to the F4 style tail after the 600RR came out. This style looks just like my '00 I had.

From my early years the one that first mad my have to have list H2 750 never mind that it had a flexi-frame and merely a suggestion of brakes.
After re-entering riding a a Ducati 999
Having purchased and ridden both they never lived up to my fantasy but god in the saddle of either you know you were ALIVE

I would let you have your way with my mom for one of those. I seen one once, made me do a double take trying to figure out what it was
