Good to know. That may be the problem but like I said, it still works fine. They've never let me down. The first time I thumb the starter and it just groans at me though, it will be making a quick exit

I know what you mean with the weight. I deal with a lot of AGM Heavy Truck batteries and they weigh a ton. Most of the ones we get dont have handles on them either. It's a great idea. Make a much heavier battery, then save some weight by getting rid of the Handles?
