From Sherrie's thread - http://www.twowheelfix.com/showthread.php?t=14230

I've watched folks ride bikes that I have bought, and I've test ridden bikes that I didn't buy, but I've bever test ridden a biek that I have bought.

With all that beig said, I wouldnt consider buying a bike without at least seeing it move under its own power

I was offered to test ride, but I wasn't comfortable with the idea since I just got out of the MSF course. The dude even volunteered to bring it to my place, which was great.

I have test driven a couple over the years but for the most part i don't even think about it. if they offer i may or may not.

if it's a new bike and I want to try it i'll find a demo ride somewhere.
