I've been a sport bike rider for years, and just last year got a couple small dual sports to run around on. I have as much fun on them as I do the sport bikes. I only wish there were some good riding areas around here; even some nice long dirt roads would do!

My first street legal bike was a yamaha trailway 200. I used it as a commuter and weekend trailbike and it was damn near indistructable and got like 60-80mpg. I alaways think about getting another dualsport for commuting cause they are so easy to handle and if i do its not gonna be a 200cc.

Trailbikes get nearly the same mileage as scooters but look way cooler.

Why not get a buell blast as a commuter? I got about 65 mpg on my last tank and rode it hard as hell.
