Default Passed My FE/EIT Exam

Yay for me. All that time studying wasn't a gigantic waste. Four more years until I have to worry about another big exam. I think I held my breath for five minutes while I clicked through all their bullshit information updates to get to my results. Thank god I don't have to take that again in April!

That was easy. Civil engineers can pass it, that should tell you something. PE is a lot tougher because you don't remember all that bullshit that you never use in the real world that they test you on after 4 years on the job.

Congrats

Congrats
From what I hear, the PE is easier. Fewer questions, and all open book, plus its what you actually use. Rather than fucking statistics, chemistry, and all the other crap I was forced to take in school and never needed.

A coworker just passed his PE for Computer Science or Programming, so I can start racking up the experience right away.

I didn't think so, I thought the FE was simple. Studying for the PE was the worst part. Remembering all that shit. I suspect computer programming would be easier, because that's what computer programmers do, I sure as hell don't do all the calculations that the PE tests you on, we have computers for that shit now. Especially in power, we do more project control and troubleshooting.
