Good write up (and about damn time).

I wish I could find an exhaust that would make my bike sound like you have described here.

The R1 is rowdy and “vibratious”, a good analogy would be a 350 small block chevy thumping in comparison to honda’s vtec sewing machine. R1 sounds like there should be some fucking pushrods in that engine somewhere.

Tached1000rr..nice writeup.

Question...how does the R1 fit you? If it fits well, what is your height?

I'm 6'2" and the R1 fits me very well. Before I picked up my CBR I was getting an 07 R1 just based upon fit, but found too good of a deal on the CBR to look away.

just bought a sato full with gp mini can ive heard it on another zx10 and its pure sex, just gets a bit loud when you get higher into the revs. See if they make it for the 6

I have the standard sato muffler as well for when its time to have fun and not alert the entire state (exhaust goes on next week i shall try and get a vid with sound check but no promises).

Btw old R1s look better

Thanks. I'm not digging the mini gp can, but I'll have to do a search on a sound byte to see if it is what I'm wanting. I have a feeling I'll never get exactly what I want without paying a fortune for it. I need to find a rich sugar daddy.

The key to that is going to be putting a vtwin or this new R1 at the other end of whatever exhaust you find.
