That looks like the OEM Yamaha plate, which is a piece of shit from what I understand.

Yes, but its attachment points are pretty crappy and all folded over when he hit, really the whole thing bent up about 1/2 inch in the rear and just knocked in the oil pan.

Its the upgraded OEM skid plate, and really it did pretty good considering the hit that it took. He was moving at 40+ mph and got at least 3 foot of air vertical and and over 10 foot of distance, and landed on a 6 inch tall rock. I'm surprised that the skid plate held up nearly as well as it did. The guy is lucky that it didnt pierce the skid plate.
