What car would you buy under 10k? - Page 2

Pretty vague question -- What do you want it to do?

Personally, I'd probably get an S2000.

If you needed 4 doors, then a 10-yr old Audi A4 or BMW 3-series. Good luck on maintenance costs though.

Or how about one of those Mercury Marauders.......those are somewhat pimp-looking.

It doesn't matter...I was thinking a Jeep Wrangler or 2003-2005 A4.

Upon further consideration, I change my truck choice. Kaiser M35A2C with the whistler turbo, add some Goodyear XML tires, let me figure out what to spend the rest on, probably spare parts.

I have seen them in the 12-13K range, which is doable if you are looking at 10K

Wife who doesn't want to drive stick?
Bunch of long legged freaks in the family who need space upfront and in the back?

Used Scion xB. Seriously. One of my husband's friends is 6'7" and he can sit in the back seat of my car and have plenty of leg room.

I think they make them in automatics.
