Isn't the Gix rather porky as well?

Besides, an extra 20 lbs isn't going to hurt anything unless you're racing. In fact it might even make it ride better.

It does...alot. 20lbs moving at 100mph when you have to turn in 0.5s begins to become a problem.

the us spec yam shuts the butterflys on you as revs increase. up to 60% at redline. the fix is...expensive.

to be fair the kawi does this too though somewhat less intrusively and is quite a bit easier (and cheaper) to banish
