So I take ot theyre carriers if if they die, they themselves turn into zombies?

Orrrr.......everyone has the virus, but it's only activated by being bitten/blood transfer from zombie or when you die.

Everyone has it, if you die of natural causes or get killed in some other form or fashion besides zombies, you will stil zombify. At least that is how it works in the comics.

Seems like the group will figure that out now with them noticing the prisoner wasnt bitten and shane comming back as well.

I though ti twas a litlte cheesey how theres a horde of zombies in the woods who now hear the gun shot. Guess its to set the stage for next weeks battle at the farm and to see who doesnt make it to season 3.
