I agree with the air bubble thing. Some bikes are really hard to get the air bubbles out of. My dirt bike is such a pain that it has 2 bleeder screws. On sport bikes the water pump will get a air bubble and the best way I have found to get rid of them is to squeeze the hoses rapidly with the cap off you will see and hear the bubbles come out.

I to have used engine ice with great results.
