No idea on the title, just contact your local BMV/DMV and ask them. I would think that you would have to get all the signatures of owners between the guy who has the title and yourself. '94 Chevy with about 140,000 on it. If I had it the whole time, it wouldn't have so many problems, put the PO was clueless and seriously neglected it.

The salvage title is NH, the 2nd PO is in Conn. I think, and the PO is in PA. Thankfully, they've both been good to deal with.

Try to find out whether or not Conn requires the title to be signed in front of a Notory, if not your journey just got a bit easier.

Oh. OK. I thought it was newer than that. Did you find out if it was the TC that was bad? I just ask because I work at a place that manufactures torque converters.

Not yet. I've checked the wiring and it looks fine. Was going to pull the filter and look for metal tonight, but got sidetracked- starting to winterize the house.

Heard from a trans shop, and they're quoting $1200. Shit, I don't have that right now! And I don't even get paid till next week. They're saying something broke, and the metal shavings are clogging the filter, which is why it moved in the morning. The stuff moved off the filter- until you get up a little speed and it clogs again.
