I called and they have the model I'm interested in (the XB12scg) and the guy I spoke with said I could come anytime and ride it. Next day off I may be making a trip there, as long as it doesn't rain.

If it was a Dealer Bike/Car...Id ride/Drive it hard.

If it was someone that I knew then No...Unless they told me to

I don't blame ya on the gladhandle.. er gladiola.. er Gladius. Looks like a wannabe Monster.

Demo bikes are meant to be ridden hard! I don't know about Harley and there "ride anything" deal, but any other company that does demos considers the fleet a writeoff. They're advertisement. Though usually you don't get to ride that hard because the rides are lead by an employee at a less than spirited pace.
