Default HJC Breath Box

Hey guys I have a HJC CS-R2 lid, currently just cracking my visor to prevent fogging. Do you guys know if the breath box is worth getting or do you think I should just go with the Fog City inserts?

I don't have that lid but I have another HJC model and have the breath box and it works pretty well when it's cold outside but it has to be adjusted absolutely perfectly... Any gap up top at ALL and it just makes things worse.

I have found just a thin layer of dish soap works wonders for fogging.

Thanks man, how do you apply it? It got smudgy when I tried that once before, then I ended up just wiping it all off...

A very very thin layer, almost like you're putting on wax...

Ohh.. I may have just learned something here.

Or relearned it. I think I remember you or someone else mentioned that in another thread now that I think about it. I should make it a point to do these kind of things as they pop up.

Where I live, we get fog constantly (I guess at my altitude, it is called "clouds" ) so it is pretty much a necessity
