GPS's are plug and play, right? You just have to enter the coordinates and you're good, right? Don't have to pay a fee or anything?

no no fee... but you may have to buy maps... err you WILL have to buy maps eventually... so you stay up to date... but like my little E-trex Legend you may need maps to see anything other than a freeway

yeah really I don't even need one... a map in the tank bag is all I'd need... or even just a note with the roads to watch for... (I always carry a map though) but I got it for wheeling... and I can upload my routes and post them... so i'll use it for the blog comp.
