Wow, you're a Killboy photog? That's pretty cool! Welcome to the forum! There are a bunch of good people on here!

Hi Katherine!

You guys really made my day up there too ... as somebody in the group said, it doesn't get much better than this!

Although I often have people stop / hang out, there are many days when it's just me, my ipod, and my music ....

Now that the weather is cooling off some, I'll be riding my bike(s) to shoot more often, and get to play a little before / after work... I'm looking forward to the next week or so of cooler temps ...

Thanks for the compliment on my Avatar ... I have a vague recollection of two very sweet sportbikegurls that were there and gave me wonderful hugs! One of them was nice enough to email me the pic I used in my avatar

Can't wait to see some of your Indy pics!

We generally use Canon 40Ds as our primary cameras, with 30Ds as backup.

We mostly shoot with Canon 70-200 F2.8 L zoom telephoto lenses, tho I have a 70-200 F4 L (lighter weight), and a Canon 28-300 IS L that I sometimes use...

Hi PhiSig, thanks for the welcome ... I've been with Killboy since 2004, and it is a pretty awesome job most of the time!

Downsides are weather, bugs, *heat*, and watching all your friends riding / having fun while you're stuck shooting.

Last couple months have been too hot to ride to shoot (I wear a Black aerostich 2-piece roadcrafter, planning on getting a cooler color / design for July/August next year) ... I enjoy my car, but I'm a motorcyclist at heart

I can appreciate that, I am a ridercoach, and teaching in long pants, boots and long sleeve shirts in 100 degree temps can get a little old.

Thanks NTS ... I probably did see you in June (I was shooting), but I'm not very good with remembering people's names with all the people I meet ...

Seems like a lot of really nice folks here, so I'm trying to make time to visit regularly ... Appreciate your support of killboy!
