Default Test Rode a new R1

Did not like....

While the engine was cool and all, the bike was fairly heavy and the suspension needed to be setup correctly. I did like the A/B/C mode. Started out on standard, but the Race mode was much better, minus the twitchy on/off throttle response.

I'll stick to my ZX6r for the canyons.

I don't like how hot the exhaust gets, feels like I'm roasting everytime I ride it.

However, if you are 5'9 and all torso you will find the R1 to be uncomfortable.
did THAT research myself I did..

Definitely feels roomier than my cramped cbr cockpit, I can ride the R1 longer before I hurt than compared to my bike.

I'm more legs than torso. I have to basically lay on the tank to get to the bars on the new r1. I would probably never buy this generation for the street.

Bout the same.
It probably seemed bad at the time because I had just sat on a gsxr1k. That bike fit me like a glove.

Only thing about gsxrs I don't like is, their fuel tanks don't have a good "lip" on them. It's too far up, if it exists at all. The lip on the R6 is much better.
