Frame sliders..... eeewwwwwwww

Kel - the one thing to remember ALL day.... breathe. The rest of it, just listen to your instructors and go round and round and round and round. Just relax and breathe.

You'll have a blast.

Mine don't actually look too bad on the bike. The black kind of blends in. I don't even notice them.

As much as I cut myself up, I'm actually very good at just riding my own ride and not even thinking about anyone else around me. It's their job to get safely past me. At least that's the way I see it.

Besides, my friends tell me there's no way in hell I could be any slower than these 2 guys that were there last weekend.

I won't go into the frame slider issue...

It has nothing to do with how *fast* you are. It's the strangest thing - the first three sessions, most track noobies walk around with a look in their eye like they are going to throw up in their helmet at any given time without notice. It's OK - and it happens to everyone. For most, it is a totally different experience than any street ride EVER.

Yeah frame sliders only because I assume she will leave her street plastics on. Race plastic? Yeah no need for sliders then.

Track plastics will be a winter investment this year so this day will be done with street plastics (as much as that scares the ever loving CRAP out of me ).

Boo's actually the one that asked me to do it. I guess he had spoken to my buddy and his bike and was telling him how sad he was that I took him TO the track but not ON the track.

He didn't want to sit on the sidelines anymore....so he finally convinced me.

Booked for September 5th. Absolutely shitting my pants at the moment but I'm sure I'll be fine once I'm out there.

Wish me luck!

Don't be nervous.. Just think of it as a normal road minus the idiot cagers, no gravel, everyone going the same direction ect ect.
