I got to demo a Supeduke last fall. Nice ride.. but not being used to a V-Twin I hit the rev limiter 3 times on a 5 minute ride. The thing was deceptively fast though.

I've said it several times before, you simply cannot go wrong with Big Orange. KTM has proven in the past that if they want to compete, and eventually dominate a market they can. The jap companies better be looking over their shoulder if KTM decides they want a bigger segment of the street scene. I can't wait to see how the US journalists review the bike. My guess is that they won't like it because it departs from the cookie cutter japanese mold.
