The scanner doesn't give that much radiation, people are idiots about that as a reason. Flying is much much worse. The reason I don't want to go through it is privacy. I don't want them taking pictures of my junk and I definitely don't want them touching it either.

Ive had skin cancer 5 times now and I'm going for a biopsy next week to see if I can get a double hat trick, yes radiation is a concern for me.

But then someone else can say that its not, that if you're carrying a handgun the scanners are likely to catch that....thus keeping everyone safe from handguns.
