The RC51 is the only Japanese bike I'd consider buying at this point.

Not a bad deal if you can get it for $3k. RC (and TLR) owners tend to believe their bikes are very dear though so I'm guessing he will want $5k or possibly more. Good luck and hope it works out.

I like the RC 51 but not too sure about buying that one unless it was a great price. It may have been used as a commuter by an adult mostly blah...blah..blah...BUT the sprocket changes make me think it's seen more than it's share of wheelies and hard launches but maybe that's just me.

I'm still deciding if I want this or there's also a naked SV1K with a GSXR front end and Penske rear that I like a lot.
Smittie - He lists a sargent seat, I'm guessing it's an upgrade over stock as far as comfort.. and it's def more comfortable than this shaved piece of plywood known as my CRF seat.

He actually started at $3500, sounded like he needed the money. He's also selling his ZX-10. If this other supermoto I want doesn't come up for sale by 10/20 and he still has it, I might get it.

RC51 > SV. Massively greater than.
