Love love love the white. I also like them in the flat black.

How is the money situation? If $1000 is no problem... why not get the Ohlins bits? Seems like the first 3 have all about the same miles. Well, the one in chicago will once you get it all the way home. And you gotta think, if you get the ultra low mile one from your buddy, you're still going to have to dump a bunch of money on goodies. So you will probably end up spending more going that route.

Someone ought to get clever and set one up to say "Sent from the ECU of my Ducati".

Wouldn't it be interesting to see which motorcycles have the 'smartest' onboard computers these days?

ah, i went and talked w/ my local duc shops and both agreed, it's gonna need a mojor service and belts when i got back from chi, so another $1000-1200.

now the bike isn't worth it to me, so the search continues.

Sidebar.

I bought an Ohlins rear shock for the TLR from a member on CF, and had it rebuilt by Dan Kyle Racing. They called me a couple of times asking about weight, riding style and a few other things. Easy to talk to, deal with and his service was fast.

now AF1 has 'new' '10 Tuono Factories for $10.6k + fee's.......

most used '08 factories are still in the $8-9k range w/o an exhaust, so for $2k more is it worth it to go new?
