Default Anyone run 003s?

How do they handle? How do they compare to the 211s or Supercorsas?

Sorry bro, I've run the 002s and have been told that the 003s are about the same but for mileage.

On which bike?

I ran 211's on my 675 for most of last year and loved them.

I haven't run the 003's yet but will try them next time out. A few guys I know run them and swear they are as good or better then the Dunlops or Pirelli's.

Last weekend, I ran a set of the B-stone slicks and liked them well enough to go back and try the 003's.

Like the 211's they seem to give good feedback from the front. The rear felt a bit vague but they slid predictably, not the all or nothing I got on Michelin's.

I haven't ridden the Supercorsa's except for the OEM tires.

Sorry it is not a direct comparo, but based on the slicks and the prices of the B-stones, I think they are certainly worth a try.

675...I run supermoto specific tires on the Husky

Thanks for the review. How do they last compared to other dot race tires? I ride on the street as well.

I ran my girls 750 with 003s at the track, and compared to my 002s on the 1000....

They stick a tad better, however I use alot more of the 1000s power, so I got a little more "slide" or slipping on the 002s. But I prefer the 002s because of the good deal I can get on them VS 003s.(thanks to a Tigger link posted months ago)

*edit - not sure if you're refering to the compound race 003s or the RacingStreets, both cases I rode the RS's.

Yea that's what shortened my post too... Since this is in the track section, I'm ASSuming that he's looking for track tires and I was wasting my time and his...

Oh and I love the 002s, they slip but it's predictable and "natural" if that makes sense?

Actually it is.

When I started losing it with the pilot powers, they give way some, then ALOT, then come right back sort of unsettling the bike.

Now I can feel it slip, I can actually roll on the throttle to let them go more, or slack back to get more grip. I thought they were just getting hot and greasy at first, but I noticed that even near the limits of these tires(or rather my limits on them), they're quite controllable.

They put the 003 RSes on. They suck. Never inspired confidence and I spun up the rear a couple of times even at my craptastic pace. I swear the 016s were better track tires.

I've run many sets of the BT003s DOT race tire usually soft front with medium rear. I love the tires, but over 100mph they always seem to vibrate. They stick very well and I cannot get them to slide, but I'm on a 600. The front feedback could be a little better and I don't know or can't feel any difference between the 002 DOT race and the 003 DOT race other than longevity. I got 6 months canyon riding out of my last set.

The tire turn in is very good and they are very very neutral turning in from straight up to max lean whatever your lean max is.

They are great tires....I just landed a brand new soft 003 front for 75 bucks shipped Yippers!!

Why'd you go with the RS's?

Those are street tires, they aren't going to compare to the race dots from any brand.

Certainly not a fair comparison to the 211's.
