i usually spend about 300 at the dragstrip, unless its outta state.
on the occasions where i win or runner up, i break even, maybe come out alil ahead, like $20

cant break even at a trackday, but its nice to see it wont cost me anymore than going to the dragstrip and losing in the 1st round...just gotta pick a track now

Assuming you got all the essentials. (like TIRES, canopy, chairs, TIRES, cooler, and everything else you need while at the pits) Some people need more shit then others, like stands, tire warmers, trailers, campers, pit bikes....the list goes on and on and on...

It varies from track to track since different tracks have different fees. Sometimes if I'm doing just one day and the track is only 1-2 hours away, I'll drive up the same morning. That way I get to sleep in my own bed and save about $50.

Single day track days I spend anywhere from 275-325. (depending on if I leave in the morning or the previous night)

Shithole hotel: $50
Fuel for my V8 Tundra / trackbike and Fuel Can: $100
Trackday entry: $150
Snacks / Lunch / Water /Ice: $25

If I go to Nevada to ride Pahrump I usually ride 2 days since it's so far. I end up spending around:

Hotel (2 nights): $110
Fuel: $150
Trackday entry (2 days): (approx) $300
Snacks/water/food for the weekend: (approx) $100

That's $660 right there and doesn't even include gambling money, booze or hookers! (they got legal brothels there LOL)
If you want to buy pictures add another $45 or $80 for both days.
Things really start to add up.

Shit, why did I post here. Now I'm reminded of how much all this is really costing me.

Gambling, booze, and hookers. All essentials at a trackday!

YEAH...LOL

Believe it or not, I see some people party it up at night before and after a trackday. I personally get some food, have a drink or two (sometimes) and head back to my room. I can't hang like that. I do enough drinking when I'm at home. LOL Plus being even the least bit hungover for a trackday in 100+ degree weather just doesn't sound like too much fun. The hookers on the other hand...HAHA

If you ever roll through Vegas let me know, chances are there's a bunch of us riding that weekend and you can crash at one of our houses. We post all the track days at www.702sportbikes.com in the track and road racing section. Post up if you need a place to crash, someone will let you. I will if you don't mind sleeping on a couch.
