I forgot what they are called but not hard to find. They are a little less agressive but sound like still a good part to have. Who knows you may need to repaint that tank or switch bikes.

For the record,Stompgrips are reusable...I took mine off before painting and I plan to put them back on.

I've never had a slippage issue, so I dont use them.

Im with Trip on this one, I have friends who swear by them, but I cling plenty well without, whether in leathers or in jeans. The honda I am currently "sitting" for a buddy has them, and I actually found them uncomfortable, but now I dont notice them, nor do they affect my riding in anyway...

Yeah, I wear leathers 95% of the time. I do notice sliding when I wear jeans. If I wore them more, I would probably need some.

I like using stompgrip.
btw- anybody have any hooks up? Seems like that stuff should be cheaper. I mean it's like the stompads for snowboards except bigger and like 5 times the price.

Ok I'm always offering stuff and then forgetting....btw GIXXER1k pm me your address again and I will send that TRE. I forgot with the crash, I have another set of stompgrips BUT they are for an 06 GSXR1000. You can check if they'll fit your bike. If they do,I'll sell them cheap-privided I don't fuck mine up!
