My first oil change I had to run it till around 850 on the GSXR...checked with the dealer and they said it was all good, the couple extra hundred wont make that big a difference. Still riding the snot outta the GSXR with no problems. Several hundred might be a concern, but only a few hundred I wouldnt stress about.

I think my engine finally breaks in at 24000 miles. I am on a 6000 mile interval.
