The other thing about SMX+ boots is the titanium piece scrapes the paint off swingarms.

Let it go,man! I've had SMX+ boots for 5 or 6 years (maybe more) and I have never noticed any "scraping" on the 3 bikes I've worn them on. Now of course they were 3 GSXRs so

Besides,I don't have a Ti piece on the instep of the boot.

I guess it all depends on the shape of the swingarm, the size of your feet, and how you ride. They sure scraped the swingarm of my 05 R6.

I ride with the ball of my feet on the pegs, and my ankle pressed up against the bike, so yeah they're gonna rub.

kids in school buses get a kick out of anyone on a motorcycle. until they hit junior high. then they yell stuff and act tough right up to the point they see the brake light

I took a ride to a local bicycle store, wearing all my gear. As I was walking out, a little girl and her mother were walking in.

The little girl said to her mom, "Mommy, does he have to wear all that stuff on his motorcycle?"

Mom said, "No, but it's the smart thing to do."

I thought that was pretty cool.
