The new Lotus owners are all about fat luxosport cars not purebred sports cars. It was amazing how Lotus could make even a Toyota engine leak oil but somehow they did it. They did it in a car I would love to own someday.

The Elise was a POS, it has way too much road noise and shitty ride. Only someone in their early 20's could tolerate it as their only car.
The new Evora is a better car ------ better-looking and better-riding than the Elise. It may be heavier, but these days, 3,000 lbs isn't bad. The Porsche Cayman is right around there too. |
