He's looking for an inexpensive way to get back onto the track (he used to race back in the day). Ideally I'd like to findsomething that is mass-produced and raced, so there's a good market for the bike and the parts. The Super-mono's are one-offs right now, so they're pricey, and a lot of work to build. He's looking for a turn-key track hack.

It sounds like he's just trying to get back in the track game, but there's not too many better bikes than a 1098S. Some people just have more money than sense.
