Looks like I'm late posting but I now prefer clear shields. I owned a mirrores back when I kart raced and it was cool at first but as soon as things (debris/bugs/grease) started bouncing off of it it deteriorated quickly and almost became clear. So then I switched to dark smoke. That was great until I got caught out late one night and couldn't see a tihng on the way home. So... whie I still have some smoke shields I typically use the clear and wear my sunglasses. I won't be caught with a dark shield at night, and the polarized sunglasses are better than any smoked shield anyway. Now if they come out with a polarized shield I might be in trouble :).

My jacket has a pocket designed for carrying an extra shield...works great. Fits under the right arm from chest to back. I've actually carried an extra shield nearly in the same location without a pocket in the past before I had this jacket...never any issues...can't really fall out with a zipped up snug at the waist jacket.

The jacket is the Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0...other colors available but mine is red to match my bike...

Ive got that same jacket in blue and the visor pocket is definitely one of my favorite features on it.

What a great feature!!! I once had a jacket that had a small pocket on the sleeve for change,bike key,etc and a pocket in the back for the liner. I don't know why all jackets don't have these features.

I definitely feel the same. And if I recall correctly I think youre the one that gave the link to get it even cheaper.
