I wasn't sure what "it" was when I saw a man standing there in boxers so I was a little scared

Some nice bruising there BUT considering it was a dump truck...can only imagine what you could have looked like.

Glad it wasn't worse.

neebelung 09-15-2009 11:14 AM

YEEEEOOOWCCH! Sweet jeezus... all things considered (I mean, it was a fuggin dump truck, for God's sake!), looks pretty damned good!

pauldun170 09-15-2009 11:15 AM

When you say "dump truck" so you mean "fat girl" or do you mean actual dump truck?

Because I've seen worse bruises from pillow fights.

:lol

Seriously, if you got away with some bruising, consider yourself lucky.

Was this recent or a past event?

Amber Lamps 09-15-2009 11:27 AM

Well, it wouldn't show so much if you'd get your ass to a tanning bed!!! Dayum!!!! Hey Trip, change Rider's name to "Vanilla Smoothie".

Ed, I'm ASSuming that these are old pics from after the accident and not indicative of your present condition.:panic:

Those were from my Nov accident. I just hadn't gotten around to posting them yet. The crash scene pics are posted around here somewhere.

Yeah I'm white but I live in MI and work inside... Beside those were taken in Nov.. any tan I might have had was gone by then, not that I tan well anyway.

Particle Man 09-15-2009 12:49 PM

freakin' ouch

Gas Man 09-15-2009 10:22 PM

I'm just glad none of those pictures contained a ball. One was close, but thankfully it was ball-free.

And honestly, that's not NEARLY as bad as I expected.

HurricaneHeather 09-16-2009 09:12 AM

Can't see but two of the pictures, but really a few bruises when you had a run in with a dump truck? I say that's fucking awesome.

Rider 09-16-2009 09:21 AM

Yeah the wife and kids call me superman. It really is amazing I didn't break my leg. You can also see how little road rash I got for just wear thin dress slacks.

Crash scene pics here:

Hey he's been busy....he obviously hasn't been taking Caribbean vacations!

smileyman 09-16-2009 11:16 AM

By the grace of God. He obviously spared you so you could get a tan before you meet St Peter!

Rider 09-16-2009 11:19 AM

Hey, I have just a hint of color from my knees down.

Gas Man 09-16-2009 12:41 PM

Hey dont feel bad Rider. I'm just as white. I have to wear jeans at work and always jeans when riding. So with those 2 things, I rarely have shorts on.

I don't understandd why anyone gives a shit if someone else is the same color they were born with. I'm white. So I look white. And I'd rather not have gnarly leathery looking skin, so white it's staying.

Gas Man 09-16-2009 01:06 PM

Exactly. My wife is white as hell. She goes in the sun, turns red for a few days... then bk to white. Oh well. She just accepts it.

If you ask one of the hottest women of the pre-generation Heather Locklear, she says the best advice is sun block to the extreme to stay young looking.
