it sux living in NY seems like all the better deals are further away, and the savings almost arent worth it with getting myself there and getting me and the bike back.

its making me take the plunge. I am a little torn between the R and CR though.

Tmall 10-21-2009 05:06 PM

Test ride them first Tommy.

They may be very cramped for somebody your size.

What I read the CR is a little roomier. I am going ot head to a harley dealer in Long Island City tomorrow to sit on one to see how it feels. Theyre offering a killer deal of 9,999 dollars :wtfru:

Something I noticed was that the oil filter and engine case interfered with my feet. I only wear size 10.5.

Hmm that can be a problem with my size 15's I will make sure to look at that tomorrow.

I liked the R over the CR when i test rode one a few months ago, thats just me though, i liked the wind protection and I use my bikes more of a touring, canyon carving trackday bike so if it were my money i would def go for the R

it sucks being a broke ass graduate student... i would kill for an 1125R

From what Ihave read the gearing on the R is a bit better for canyon carving as well. thats the big pita on my priller running through the twisties I am constantly changing gears.

I wouldn't buy any kind of 1125 due to the ugly styling. The only Buell I'd consider buying is an XB of some kind.

dReWpY 10-21-2009 05:43 PM

i think the lean angles that are possible on the 1125 are sick
