Which do you prefer WSBK or MotoGP?

Which series do you like watching the most?

I like watching WSBK the most personally.

z06boy 10-26-2009 11:13 AM

In the past...before this year it was MotoGP for me but honestly this year I've enjoyed WSBK quite a bit more.

Tmall 10-26-2009 11:16 AM

I don't follow either. If I happen to flip through the progran guide and see a race, I'll watch it.

Rider 10-26-2009 11:20 AM

WSBK was way more entertaining this season. I still watch both series though. MotoGP 600 or whatever the hell they are going to call it should be fun to watch too.

I'm the same way. Used to follow both but now, if it weren't for facebook statuses I wouldn't even know when it's on.

MotoGP first, then WSBK

wsbk. Its all tight exciting rider battles. Moto gp is interesting because of the exotic nature of prototypes but over there its who spends wins. Never gonna some shit like what shakey pulled this weekend. Not without an act of god anyway

Trip 10-26-2009 12:49 PM

WSBK usually has more entertaining races, a MotoGP race is only interesting for like the first 5 laps normally and then that is pretty much how it finishes.

Not true, Melandri was doing well on the kawi a couple of races, even after development stopped. Elias won a race over Rossi in 06. It happens in WSBK about as often as MotoGP.

That's my exact feelings actually.

melandri does well in the rain, plus as i understand it the zx-rr has more flex in the chassis compared to other machines on the grid which is supposed to offer better feel in low traction situations. Now if you were referring to a not raining time he did well id love to hear about it. Ive always liked the zx-rr. Still it happens far less in gp than it does in sbk. Byrne, nieto, laconi, haslam have all had brilliant moments this year as privateers.

HurricaneHeather 10-26-2009 01:25 PM

Don't watch either. It's a sport that has to be followed and I just don't care that much.

Riceaholic 10-26-2009 02:08 PM

Always WSBK because of the production base and tighter racing.

My reasons too

racedoll 10-26-2009 08:29 PM

wsbk but didn't watch much this year since bayliss is retired.

that and erik would watch, then delete them before i had the chance

The Awesome 10-26-2009 11:20 PM

Before Bayliss retired it was pretty even for me. I love watching Bayliss and Rossi pull off the impossible. Now I prefer GP, just because I know the next magic moment from #46 is always right around the corner.

pdog 10-26-2009 11:39 PM

Definitely WSBK. They seem to have a decent formula for getting good races. The GP races are boring and the same five guys are always at the top (with Edwards almost always in 5th).

azoomm 10-27-2009 09:35 AM

WSBK has better races to watch. MotoGP has better races to attend.

cuttle 10-27-2009 10:10 AM

best GP racing this year was in the 250 :rockwoot:

otherwise I prefer WSBK

PCSB. Why watch racing on TV when you can be within 10 feet of the bikes and riders?
