Dragon difficulty set to extreme?
Looks like the dragon may get tougher to tame if they continue with this new addition they are doing on 129. They are slowly creeping up from where 129 left 411 towards the lake. The equipment disappeared when they hit the lake, but it may be a new addition next year. Hitting these at lean will be bad.

Looks like every road in PA, we have the grooves cut into the white lines too.
|
Hold your lane and you'll be ok. Easier said than done I know.

Keep it in your lane. |

scraping a peg in those things probably wont end well :(

I'm wondering if it's geared toward bikes or toward idiot cagers and truckers who won't stay in their own lanes...

Yeah I don't miss PA roads at all. I dont know how you guys ride up there. The tar snakes and potholes are EVERYWHERE. That and those damn concrete highways with expansion joints so ever 1.5 seconds you are like gugunk gugunk gugunk.

oops LOL I was wondering why you were calling me multiple assholes. :lol |

they do the chip seal ("tar and chip") stuff here too... thing is, they do it too late so the road is already effed so all the process really does is make already screwed up roads worse.

Bottom Line: FUCK tar and chip, or whatever the fuck it's called in your state. FUCK IT in it's STUPID ASS.

but yeah... everywhere else it's just cost savings.... they have it in quite a few places here in MS... FWIW: it was called Chip seal... or Chip and Seal in Oregon... |
I just call it tar and pea gravel. :idk: Whatever, it fucking sucks whether you you are on a bike or in a hummer.

As for the gouging - other than being a minor annoyance when passing, I have no problem with it since I treat the double yellow as a concrete barrier except when passing. It will likely cut down on on the asshats that routinely use both lanes, riding like they're on a track - that would be a positive, IMO. |

The Harleys I've ridden handled nice enough. No issues what-so-ever when ridden at legal speeds. Clearance can be an issue but if you are "cruisin" they are fine. I'd have no problem with double yellow because the only time I cross them is when turning into a driveway or parking lot. |

Remember, we have it just as cold as WI yet we have much much higher truck weight limits. I think one of the highest in the country. So that just jacks the roads up like you wouldn't believe. There are roads out here that Ford uses to test their cars suspension on in real world. |
