what are you?

What type of rider do you think you are?

RACER X 11-25-2009 01:16 PM

now DC

lauralynne 11-25-2009 01:20 PM

I'm 50/50 - track/street

track is 50/50 race/track
and street is 40/60 commute/long distance trips(never on the freeway)

so whatever that adds up to...

CrazyKell 11-25-2009 01:20 PM

I'm 50/50 track street now.

HurricaneHeather 11-25-2009 01:29 PM

I am a rider who doesn't ride and who works on old bikes instead.

Good times.

karl_1052 11-25-2009 01:30 PM

Commuter
tourer
Drag racer
Track rider

Depends what I am doing that day. I picked a bike that can do it all.

neebelung 11-25-2009 01:31 PM

 Commuter + Cruiser... weekdays I like to commute whenever I can, weekends I like to get out with friends and just ride for fun. If we HAD canyons, I'd call myself a canyon carver, but alas, we have none.

z06boy 11-25-2009 01:34 PM

Carver/cruiser

tached1000rr 11-25-2009 01:38 PM

I voted canyon carver it's what gets my blood flowing, i can do it at any time etc.

I do use my bike to commute too, but that's not it's primary purpose.

I'd like to evolve into a track junkie one of these days as well. I drag race now on occasion still.

Apoc 11-25-2009 01:51 PM

i just ride. Instead of labeling it, I enjoy it.

Cutty72 11-25-2009 01:57 PM

random rider.

guess you can call that commuter.

the chi 11-25-2009 02:00 PM

Track junkie. I rarely ride on the streets anymore...but theres reasons and reasons for it...

Sean 11-25-2009 02:00 PM

I picked track junkie since that's what I've been doing the most of for the past 6 months, but I don't know if I'll make it back out there.

Rider 11-25-2009 02:01 PM

Right now I'm just a track junkie(MX) until I pick up the V-star, then I'll also be a cruiser.

Gas Man 11-25-2009 02:07 PM

I'm a track junkie with my HD Ultra

MILK 11-25-2009 02:23 PM

I'm currently not a rider at all. I've ridden once since July. :(

<<<<--- My bike is for sale too. I dread dread dread selling it and can't bring myself to actually place an ad but I will be selling it.

Ouch, hate to hear that.

racedoll 11-25-2009 02:24 PM

Gawd I hate saying it too. There will be another day when I will have one. I'm thinking dual sport. ;)

Digifox 11-25-2009 02:43 PM

Imma squid.
HAHA

ericr 11-25-2009 02:46 PM

I voted canyon carver because that's what I prefere. I do commute on the bike and ride any chance I get though.

skiergirl 11-25-2009 02:52 PM

Track Junkie 100%, the only time my bike sees the street is the occasional time I ride it to the track - all 2 miles down the road..:)

I'd love to add a VFR to my collection but it's not in the cards for me right now:td: Actually I will tell my father in law about it as he may be in the market. I'll be at his house in Charlotte sometime tomorrow.

Particle Man 11-25-2009 03:17 PM

I'm a combination of commuter, cruiser, and canyon carver but I spend most of my saddle time going to and from the office.

That's ok, it's a 50 minute ride with lots of curves.

No Worries 11-25-2009 05:25 PM

Mountain carver/going to the supermarket before or afterward. Actually it depends if I have to get frozen food. Then I mountain carve before. I hate it when ice cream is melting down the sides of the tank.

smileyman 11-25-2009 05:47 PM

I am a good rider. On track, street, or highway. Not a great rider, not a legend, but a good rider...

MissHell 11-25-2009 06:04 PM

I am a cruiser, occasional canyon carver and daily commuter.

G-Rex 11-25-2009 06:30 PM

Where's the *Get on your bike and come home 5000 miles later* option?

HurricaneHeather 11-26-2009 06:22 PM

I voted stunter because it looked lonely.

Mrs. Colleen 11-27-2009 12:02 AM

Carver.

Wish I could add track junkie to the list. :td:

Krabill 11-27-2009 06:03 PM

Dual sporter, but I do commute daily. Since you didn't have dual sporter in your options I just went with Tater's ex.

she's a dual sporter so you're safe

OneSickPsycho 11-27-2009 08:59 PM

Squid.

101lifts2 11-28-2009 02:17 AM

There would be many more people polling if there was a "punk" option.

acalliste 11-28-2009 06:34 AM

Sport rider (no canyons here), commuter, track rider. But... I probably won't be doing track days for a while. Got introduced to north GA last summer, so I am going to try to get back up there more often.

OTB 11-28-2009 08:40 AM

Well, lesseee....

I am a commuter, but it's not why I ride..

I am definitely not a cruiser type..

No canyons 'round here......

Wayyy to olde to be a stunter....

Stopped going to the track in the 70's....

No squid, nope......

Wayyyy too olde to be ridin' anybodies ex-wife......

Got anything like "Over-the-hill Wannabe"?????

Tmall 11-28-2009 08:52 AM

I commute with the bike only because I can park it at work. If I took the car I'd have to park 10minutes away.

I cruise when traffic is heavy.

But, I do spend the majority of my time dicking around in corners.

Fleck750 11-28-2009 09:04 AM

Forgot the poser/squid option too. :)
