Ducati Multistrada 1200
This is huge ... Aiming straight for the GS, the US premiere of the new Ducati Multistrada 1200 happens this weekend at the LA IMS show at Long Beach.
It's got 4 modes for riding: Urban, Sport, Touring, or Enduro. 150hp engine ... holy cow. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/wp-c...200-leak-6.jpg Yummy to say the least!! |
I cant get past the beak in the front, just doesnt look right
|
Why does it look like you need a ladder to get on?
|
Not a cool at the hyper but it's still cool. How much is the thing?
|
I've seen a chop without the beak... huge improvement.
|
was never a big fan of the multius and dont care for this on eeither.
Now if they brought back the st4 then I would be interested. Tom |

everything else in that class looks, uh, challenged.... |
The different ride modes not only affect the suspension, but the engine as well.
In Sport, it gets tight suspension & the full 150 horses. (Watch out...) In Urban, it gets med suspension & only allows 100 hp. In Tour, it gives the full 150, but dials back on the torque & gives the cushiest suspension possible. In Enduro (Now there's a term that's a blast from my past!), it only offers 100 ponies, but gives full torque, cranks up the suspension, as well as allowing you to turn off the ABS & the traction control. If it works, it's genius. If not ... well, the big problem w/ Ducs has always been the cost of maintenance. I can only imagine how much coin it'll cost to have this thing towed/repaired from the middle of nowhere .... Check out the video presentation here. |

I'll take one in Touring mode please!
I ride a Busa for crying out loud. Ugly doesn't bother me. If it does what I want it to do, I'll ride it! |
