Who's bike has the most mileage?

Ya herd me, fools. Who's running the big numbers on the odometer?

t-homo 05-04-2008 07:37 PM

Put on personally, or on the odometer of your current bike?

I'm sittin at 2290. Total.

NONE_too_SOFT 05-04-2008 07:37 PM

nope, just the bike w/ the highest mileage is what im lookin for. and can mod fix the spelling in my title please? i forgot an e.

dReWpY 05-04-2008 07:39 PM

~14,000

t-homo 05-04-2008 07:42 PM

Damn. I was in the lead for a second. Didn't last long.

Phenix_Rider 05-04-2008 07:46 PM

8,880 Total, 1,980 this season. On my way to many, many more. I'm aiming to wear out my Pilot Roads (10k-ish) plus a few sets of track tires.

Mrs. Colleen 05-04-2008 07:49 PM

My bike has 38349.9 miles on it...very few of those miles were from me.

Mr Lefty 05-04-2008 07:50 PM

I'm think'n OTB or NoWorries... but then again... with Drewpy's dad on here... and his 600+mile one way trips for odd motorcycle parts... who knows

JK 05-04-2008 07:50 PM

i cant verify but...

  • my work commute is 63miles round trip.
  • i work at least 5 days a week usually 6. I'll count 5. 63 * 5= 315 miles a week
  • been doing it for 4 years. 52 weeks * 4 years= 208. 208 weeks * 315 miles a week= 65,520 miles.
  • my speedometer broke 4 years ago @ 13,000 ish in a thunderstorm. 65,520 + 13,000= 78,520 miles.

thats not counting fun runs and weekends... yikes i think its time to freshen the ole SV. Of course i cant verify it but whatever... thats what i figure. I just recently started taking the car since my wreck i cant ride as much as before, but this a round figure.

dReWpY 05-04-2008 07:51 PM

he has alot

Mr Lefty 05-04-2008 07:51 PM

 4 years and still haven't gotten around to fix'n it huh

bah.

The needle just gets in the way and adds weight to the bike. You're better off without it :dthumb:

NONE_too_SOFT 05-04-2008 10:10 PM

how the hell do you bust a speedo needle anyways?

I have NO idea! :willy: The guy who had the bike before me said it just fell off. He said the needle is probably still in the bike.

NONE_too_SOFT 05-04-2008 10:38 PM

i think it'd be easier to break a marshmallow by throwing it at a foam pillow.

WARputer 05-05-2008 04:31 AM

21K miles on mine

Captain Morgan 05-05-2008 07:19 AM

178,000+ on the odometer. Oh, you wanted the most miles on a bike. Sorry, can't help you there. But my cage is getting up there in mileage. Right now, I'm averaging about 3-400 miles a week on the cage, which is great for my wallet at the prices I'm paying for gas!

papapoi 05-05-2008 07:42 AM

Just turned 24,000miles on my 06 Sv650 every mile i put on it myself.:twfix:

neebelung 05-05-2008 08:02 AM

Mine has somewhere around 43K on it.

Lamnidae 05-05-2008 01:27 PM

ummmm.... wow.

I need to get more miles in the new Busa... only 260ish.

Don't worry, I'll be addin' some up this summer. :)

OneSickPsycho 05-05-2008 01:33 PM

I've got about 7k on my bike... Not too bad considering all of that was from June through October, less September... well, and about 500 Florida miles... So all in all, I averaged about 1,300 miles per month in Ohio and 83 miles per month in FL...

First of all, I commute 150-miles each day, so it doesn't take much to rack up the miles on the bikes. But when I get home, that scooter comes out to play.:rockwoot:

Where's ThirdGenLXI? That guy has over 100K on his bike.

Cutty72 05-05-2008 03:47 PM

um, 843 on the 1125R, and like 10,7** on the SV.
I put 'em all on the Buell, and almost all on the SV.

Smittie61984 05-05-2008 08:22 PM

I have 34,500+/- on my 96 F3. I put about 6,000+ since January. I do know 2 of the previous owners and know of one before those two(all under 19 with little brain power). They loved wheelies and abused the bike badly. Yet it's still going strong. Honda FTW!!!

Which I'm not sure if he's on here and if not some of the CBR guys will know him but Jared/thirdgenlxi has I think 122,000+ on his 2004 F4i (and I think 500,000 on his 90something Accord)

Just saw this. He's still around and lives in Georgia now. I think he's been real busy with his new job and doesn't post as much on the local forums or the CBR forums. last time I saw him update his mileage I remember him at over 122K miles.

If you are wondering how he has so many miles go here and look at every post for Thirdgenlxi and you'll see why. Which he has some really cool pics.

Nighthawk 05-08-2008 06:12 PM

Up to 43,000 on the BMW, 5000 this year so far. The old 84 Nighthawk is up to 34,000. I ride to work 96 miles round trip 5 days a week, so about 18,240 just to work. Then the little weekend runs for bike parts or Iron Butt rides. I just like to ride, not always fast, not always into on coming traffic or at max lean. I still have chicken strips, about 1/2 in.on the left side and 1/4 in. the right. (on ramps)

dReWpY 05-08-2008 07:04 PM

remember the time u "lost" ur chix strips?

Nighthawk 05-08-2008 08:19 PM
