no more Cabriolet

I replaced it with this.

2006 Mustang GT with 17000kms(10500 miles)

I was looking at the 2010s, but this one was $10K cheaper and about $20K cheaper than the 2011s.

Nice

Avatard 05-25-2010 06:04 PM

Very nice, and with the correct transmission and number of pedals.

Gas Man 05-25-2010 10:41 PM

Nice trade up!!!

Drop top Mustang GT... CLASSIC COOL!

Cutty72 05-25-2010 11:16 PM

Nice ride.

TommyHotWheel 05-25-2010 11:37 PM

I loved mine, just prepare for unconfortable seats on long drives. I wish I still had the Filtercharger, Bassani exhaust and the wiring kits I had on mine(third brake light cutoff in the light bar, windows and sequential tails).

Nice ride..but I'm not into drop tops. Too chick like. lol Then again you are coming off of a VW Cabriolet. hahahaha

Avatard 05-26-2010 01:08 AM

You're right about only one thing; chicks like.

Since I like chicks, having a convertible works out rather nicely.

YMMV. Maybe you're...you know...

Only a douchenozzle would get a mustang convertible with an auto trans.

I wanted V8, RWD, Manual transmission and preferably open top.

I chose this over an 01 Z06(the Z06 had 60,000 more miles, higher operating costs, only two seats and a fixed roof).

z06boy 05-26-2010 02:56 PM

Nice ride. I like coupes/hardtops better but who cares since it's your car and not mine.

Rider 05-26-2010 03:01 PM

You need new wheels and you need to drop the front end about an inch.

Front and rear about 1 1/2 inches.

I like the stance on cars that have the front just slightly lower than the rear. I'm not talking about the retarded jacked up in the back look. Just a subtle drop from OEM height.

It was aimed at amberlamps.

BTW, drove it home last night from the dealer, 3 hour drive, and the seats were fine. I love this car!

Already chirped second.

Just don't mention the taillights, then. He's kinda sensitive.

That's not chirping, it's the sound of the Gods of American Muscle crying.

Sean 05-27-2010 10:43 AM

Well in that case 1 1/2" to 2" in the front and 1" to 1 1/2" in the rear but both ends need to come down imho.

That would work. Some aftermarket spring companies like Tien are making those.
