Just sold my 450. I hate letting bikes go but I suppose shutting the door on one set of memories gives me a chance to open another for new ones. Of course making $400 profit doesn't hurt things at all

woo hoo. If you would have waited a month or so I would have bought it from you

Dave 06-22-2010 10:47 PM

#1. you're exact words were "can't, sorry" not "gimmie a month or two"
#2. you wouldnt have given me $650
#3. the mortgage and some new crisis wont wait that long

The ignition defeat I did on the cm didn't need a screwdriver remember? I broke the module in half and put the contactor switch back in place with a big ass zip tie. Finger operable. The hawk needs a screwdriver

No fuck you if you do that shit, that is not a car that deserves to be sold

Dave 06-23-2010 09:56 AM

It deserves to hang out in my garage forever?

derf 06-23-2010 09:58 AM

Yes, because 50 years from now you will sit in it one day and think to yourself that you are glad it still works and you never got rid of it. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for selling the lotus, something that didnt hit me until I saw the dude drive it away, but now I want to cut my wrists (down the river not across the stree) because ti was such a beautiful car and I could have been enjoying it today

Dave 06-23-2010 10:33 AM

You act as if I don't have a far more special/collectable car sitting next to it in the garage. Or that I would replace it with something boring

Yeh but, and I'm sorry the nsx isnt a 240. I like the nsx, I really really do, but the 240 is just a much classier car
