R1up0n1 06-03-2008 06:24 PM

Nice looking bike! So how does it ride?

OneSickPsycho 06-03-2008 08:23 PM

OSP says Chewy is still attached to my bike...

Gas Man 06-03-2008 08:36 PM

What a squid!!!

azoomm 06-03-2008 09:27 PM

YAY!! A new bike.

Next thing to say... YAY!! A new pipe (that thing could shoot potatoes pretty far I bet...)

PiZdETS 06-04-2008 12:28 AM

Very nice, agree about needing a fender eliminator fo sho.

Welcome to the blue and white gsxr club. By my count it's you, me, ben spies, mat mladin and 1.4 million squids.

Trip 06-04-2008 07:19 AM

nice ride, I don't know where the fuck Chewy is at right now either. OSP had him last, but was suppose to get him to Rae.

neebelung 06-04-2008 07:47 AM

YAY!!! Sooo pretty!! Congrats!

Rider 06-04-2008 08:13 AM

My first impressions are... Man what a sweet fucking bike. The steering is effortless. I hold my lines perfectly now instead of fighting in on the Kawi. The engine is so much smoother too. It just purrs at 7K rpm.

I haven't really tested the engine yet as I am keeping the rpm's under 7500 for now. In 6th gear I can cruise at 90 mph and still be under 7500 rpm. With a 15K red line, the thing will top out pretty damn fast.

z06boy 06-04-2008 09:04 AM

As I've posted elsewhere if I didn't have the R1 I would have probably bought the gsxr 750....nice balance between the middleweights and litre bikes. I wish the other manufactures offered something like this...congrats. :dthumb:

I still have him... Logistical reasons prevented the handoff between Rae and myself before she left...

Mr Lefty 06-04-2008 09:14 AM

logistical reasons= fucking LONG ASS WAY to ride just to hand off Chewy

6+ hours and our schedules didn't mesh...

Mr Lefty 06-04-2008 09:33 AM

yeah that's what she was telling me.

Trip 06-04-2008 11:27 AM

damnit, we wanted him for the rally, you should of just fedexed him to her.

Phenix_Rider 06-04-2008 12:08 PM

Yay a new bike!:rockwoot:

I say ditch the '08 can and put on an '06-07 stubby.

mondos06cbr1000 06-04-2008 12:25 PM

smileyman 06-04-2008 05:44 PM

Yup! I am jealous. The 750 made my short list for Smileyman's Bike of the Year 08!

I was thinking about that, but doesn't that sorta defeat the purpose of keeping him on two wheels...

Mr Lefty 06-04-2008 10:29 PM

yeah don't Fed ex him... when it started we knew not EVERYONE was gonna see him... that's the whole idea... is to see how far he can go on two wheels.
