Made a little kid's day
I was on my way home from the gym and some shiny black car isn't stopping behind me at a light... It pulled up beside me, so I looked over to see if I needed to LEAVE, like NOW.
I look at the driver, and it's just some woman. And she's motioning to look at her kid in the back seat- who's about 6 or 7 and grinning like mad  SO I relaxed and opened my shield, and she says "My son loves bikes..." and I chat with the little guy till the light changes, blip the throttle, tell him to be careful, wear his gear, and have fun. While he's reciting the list of bikes he wants, the light changes. I said "Have a nice weekend" and did a little wheelie, leaving mommy's Jag and whatever was in the other lane far behind. :rockwoot: I was a good influence (mostly) today. :lol |

Maybe now, the kid won't grow up to be a lawyer. JC |
very nice,
it's always cool to stop at lights and see little kids faces plastered against thier window looking at the bike. they don't seem to care what style it is, only that it's on two wheels. |
Your tentacles are showing.
|
so.....what youre saying is you didnt get the moms number?
|
I totally thought this was going to be a "clean up on isle 3" confession thread.
|
Hell. I would have had mommy flash me some titty for having to make her kid feel good.

Brush your teeth, drink your milk, study hard, obey your parents, and someday you too can carry the front wheel aloft!
Ya know, my kid loves bikes and cars, but if I wheely for him, or do a burn out, he just gives me a blank stare, like 'come on old man, quit trying to impress me'?? |

I went to a Big Boys Toy show here in Wichita once....took my old GSX-R750....all kinds of jet skis...boats....motorcycles...cars....on display. When I left, I was gearing up at my bike and a family of 4 walked towards me....Mom and Dad and 2 boys....maybe 8 and 10....they were eyeing the bike after probably hearing "don't touch that!! leave that alone!!! get off of that!!" from their obviously over protective parents all afternoon....
I asked the youngest one....you want to fire it up? Hit this button right here....which he did. Both of them took turns sitting on it and revving the piss out of it before walking away spazzed out of their minds. Their Dad looked cool with it...their Mom? Not so much. :lmao: |
