I guess we could go the whole nine yards and head to the most southern point of the east coast, then go up to the northernmost point... That would be sweet. I like the idea of starting and stopping in Deal's Gap. That makes it pretty convenient for you too.

No, I think this will require AT LEAST 10 days, though I'd like to do 12 or 13 so we can take some time to see some things...

I'm gonna buy a '76 Harley that I found on eBay for this one... It's only been sitting in this guy's shed for the past 23 years...

BTW... I put an ad on Craigslist this evening... any guess what I'm sellin'?

Mr Lefty 06-08-2008 01:01 AM

If I make it to Mississippi... given enough lead time... I'll be down for any trips!

I still would like to hit the corners of the US... extending to Vancover Island, and Nova Scotia.

Motarded is first on the list... Then we'll be looking for something a little more distance oriented... By this time next year my goal is to own two bikes with a purpose and to only drive my truck once a week... as long as it isn't snowing.

dReWpY 06-08-2008 01:24 AM

for what its worth, it doesnt snow in FL, and its about damn time, i have found some ppl to ride with, but fuck some shit aint right, when you pull up and cant get a laugh in about a mobile snake pit or which girl that works at the truck stop is uglier, well most guys would laugh about the ugly chicks, but few would debate about it

dReWpY 06-08-2008 01:38 AM

It's too fast and I don't like how it makes power... If I had a track in my back yard to ride on all the time I'd keep it. Since I don't:

ah come on OSP, you need to keep that red carbon fiber, it's pimp.

You could fit in well with this guy we were talking to today. Me and NtS were checking out the HESD on a 1000rr and I was talking about it and the owner came up and told us how he loved it because he could do wheelies all day long without fear of getting head shake when he dropped the wheel.

that's not what your bike says, especially if you go motarded, those boys and girls are hooligans and you have to live up to that.

dReWpY 06-08-2008 06:42 PM

wheelies who does wheelies?

That's part of the reason I'm getting a motard... I've always been interested in a lil stuntin'...

Fuckin' twisties, fuckin' stuntin', fuckin' hooliganism... Motards are nearly perfect.

Only faults I see is lack of top speed (only at the track really), no wind protection, and tank could be a little bigger for long trips.

That's why they're almost perfect... The top out just over 100... I rarely ever see speeds that fast anyway... No wind protection... we don't need no stinking wind protection... Buell didn't have that shit either... They make larger capacity aftermarket tanks that are inexpensive... Honestly though, I don't see me doing any long distance shit on it so it'll be perfect.

Mr Lefty 06-08-2008 07:59 PM

those seats don't look to comfortable for long trips anyhow even if you had the tank to do so

Sat on my neighbor's boulevard 1800 the other day. I can imagine how comfy it would be on a long trip, but would much rather have mine.

Mr Lefty 06-08-2008 09:28 PM
