To SCREAMER!

Woot, traded in the ape this morning on a slightly more comfortable and forgiving street/track weapon.

08 600. Whoopty whoop. Now I'm apart of the "nation" to which I had lambasted to no extent or discretion.

Dave 10-30-2010 02:53 PM

Eww lol

Particle Man 10-30-2010 03:15 PM

Keep the front wheel on the ground...

Mikey 10-30-2010 04:37 PM

Nice. You gonna keep this one for more than a month?

Ha definitely.

Initial impressions - it's a couch in comparison. I could've napped on it with my earplugs in. No wind noise, no motor noise, no motor vibratons, nothing. It's like the bike wasn't even there.

It has about half the torque as well as the RSVR, which is A: appropriate for a WOT input midturn to exit and B: very deceiving as I had looked down at one point and was surprised at how fast I was actually going.

Plus it's almost brand new aside from just a few thousand miles, don't wanna give that up.

But wait one month, and I will come back this post and update it.

Porkchop 10-30-2010 06:15 PM

Sweet bike...... you gixxer squid!!!

tached1000rr 10-30-2010 06:16 PM

yep, I'd go put the smack down on, just to show her you still wear the pants:lol

I want another 600 in my stable too... Most likely it will be a GSXR as they seem to fit the wife best so we both can ride it.

101lifts2 10-30-2010 09:53 PM

Sweet choice. When my bud lets me ride his Gixxer 600 I feel it has the best ergos. Not nearly as refined as my 09 6r tho.

Get rid of the chicken strips homebrew.

It does!

Feels like my 06 ZX10, where the rider sits more "in" the bike, than on top. Doesn't strain the knees after heavy leg days.

And the strips are gone after the break-in test ride. ;)

Adeptus_Minor 10-31-2010 09:54 AM

Nice bike, Tye. :dthumb:
Dunno that I would've dumped the Priller for it, but it's about what feels best to you.
I do miss a 600 sometimes... those revvy, peaky, cheeky little bikes. :D

:dvrofl: it's not the size but how you ride it....... I was surprised at how low it sits, I can actually touch flat on this one and can't on mine. Can't wait to see how it handles.

Nooooo shit. Looks all round and bubbly at the front.... but they say it is way smaller than the previous version. You can kinda see it from the side views.... kinda short and stubby.

Homeslice 11-02-2010 02:07 PM

OK, they changed it.......But still, 3-spoke wheels? Get with the program already.

The bikes aren't proportioned. Wheel size is different. Chances are the bike will retain .5" of the same measurements all around.

You'll be back :lol

Sold my Gixxer 2 weeks ago.

Got a RMZ450Z that I'm going to motard and track (as well as keep the dirt stuff to play in the woods with my son...got him a RMZ125)

Nice Gixxer though :rockwoot:

Ya I saw it for sale.

Good luck with the Suzuki, I hardly ever see converted RMZ's. Guess their just not popular enough, however I saw Eslick putting a pretty decent hurting on one last time the AMA supermoto series ran at LongBeach.
