Survive off of your own waste until you stop producing it. Then steal cans of beans, repeat.

I actually know a guy who does that and after the bruising starts happening they cut you back big time.. there's no way you could live on that.
|
I thought it's plasma that pays good.
|
It's 30-40$ per donation here and you can only do it 2x a week max. That's what one of my brother's friends does. Dude looks like a heroin addict with the bruises and shit on his arms.

Go to cage matches, use some kind of personality that makes people dislike you, & get beat up for money

I lived for 2 years in El Paso off plasma and food stamps... Keep your expenses down and it's actually very easy...
For example, I pay about $460 to live here including the cable. If I got a gf to move in, I could survive on $300/month in money and I would get food stamps for sure, plus my utilities would be paid. Plasma and odd jobs could easily cover the $300. Heck, I've seen 4+ people living in an apartment this size before. |

Hell, I lived for about 4 years while traveling with virtually no income. I donated plasma, did odd projects here and there like buying cars with mechanical probs fixing, and selling when I needed a big boost. One time I went to a tax auction and bought about 30 tons of scrap steel that was on the property and scrapped it all which was a pretty good payday. It's not easy but it is very doable, I could manage to go out once or twice a week. Downside my diet was the same every week and consisted of canned fruit, lots of pasta and bread, and the occasional hamburger/tuna helper. If you cut down on all the BS it is amazing what you can get by on.

What is that, a mid-80's Maxima?

Looks like a 90s Caddilac Seville or STS.

A buddy of mine and his wife live in a house owned by my friend's father. His father only has them pay property taxes, insurance, and utilities. Essentially, that equates to their rent being less than $100 per month, plus utilities. My buddy's only source of income is playing poker. He gets people to stake him, then he splits any winnings with those people. If he loses, and the same person stakes him again, he has to pay back the previous stake at a rate of 50%. He's actually a fairly decent poker player and would likely do modestly well if he played on his own dime. But his, and his wife's, money habits keep him from being able to go it alone. He's always waiting on that "big score" to set him up. When money gets really low, or poker isn't going well, he'll deliver pizzas.
His wife is going to school on government grants. Again. They've both quit more jobs than I've had my entire life because they weren't happy at the job, for pretty much the same reasons most of us are unhappy with our jobs. Their household income is probably less than 10k per year. His wife is supposed to get child support for her two kids, but whatever she gets is basically offset by the money my friend is supposed to pay his ex-wife for child support. |

Even so, the national median is like what, 140-150?
And 200-300 wouldn't buy you anything at all out here, unless it was an hour away from the city. |

As an aside: If I run into one more panhandler who is wearing a Raptors jacket and $200 kicks, I'm going to stab him in the eye.

Dejavu is always great. Especially in lansing. But my comment was a joke. Odyssey is a home of stretch marks, c-scars, and even pregos.
Mud I have not. But I hear its not as good as when it first opened. They moved all the "brought in talent" back out. |
I don't frequent said establishments too much.. waste of money really.. but when someone else is buying i will definitely go..
