2002 V6 Altima
2008 Honda Accord
1997 Honda Civic (daughter drives)
2000 Toyota Corolla (daughter drives)

Recently sold my 2004 Dodge ram with the hemi I actually wanted to get an older beat up truck but have yet to replace it, 1st time in a long time I've been w/o a truck.

Nothing exciting in the driveway until the kids are out of college, although I am currently looking for an older car for a project for my son and I that he can drive when he turns 16 in two years.

Nothing above is picture worthy really....

2004 Dodge Ram 1500.

Also, not really picture worthy. It does the job's I ask it to do.

Glad to see you got $2500 off "asking price".

:skep: I believe Gman was the one taking photos of used oil

:skep: I also said I bought my A4, not selling it

But if I did have a car for sale, which had been thoroughly documented and had tons of new parts on it, hell yeah I'd try to ask more for it. Why not? If there is a buyer willing to pay, fuck it. People who say "repairs and mods don't add value to the car" are clueless. Most buyers wouldn't even make the initial contact if they didn't like your mods, so for them to claim they're not interested in the mods is BS.

04 Silverado 1500.

I'd love to get a new truck of some sort, but with only 54,000 miles and have been paid off for the last 2 years, it's hard to justify.

Just sold ours this weekend (the car should get picked up in the next day or two). How long have you had yours? M bought hers new... loved it, but it's time to let it go.

Took longer to sell than I expected, but I suppose it's a niche car and you just have to wait for the right buyer.

Daily driver? I had a loaner 528i-m a week or so ago. I nearly needed to change my pants when I saw the M emblems, but quickly realized it was still the straight-6 in M clothing. So, all the performance of 6 with the less-functional M series steering wheel.

How is the 1 series M? I hope it's more peppy than the one I had... that's a trademark I would hate to see get watered down.

It's for street and track. I drive it on the street to get to the track. I mean, I work at the track and I'm there 2-5 days a week. I use it to give ride-alongs. You know, those people that want to check out the track but don't have a car to do it... so I drop them in a seat and show them around.

It's a 135i with the M-kit. It is not the 1M. That means, it's the 135i with the monster brake kit, wheel, traction control and sport suspension. The M brings more than the steering wheel and stickers. Brakes make all the difference. It's amazing how much faster you can go when you know you can stop when you want to.

All we've done to it is the black kidney grills and got wheels/tires [got off the run-flats and ditched the silver M-wheels]. It's my favorite car right now - TONS of fun. It's the semi-automatic, double-clutch seven speed paddles.

Truth, if I want mileage, I take the bike.

Pickup gets about 15-16, car gets between 12-19, depending on my mood :)

(Buell averages about 42)

Even once I have kids I don't think I'll get an "economical" minivan. I'm actually hoping that the EcoBoost gets put into the Expedition so I can pick one of them up for the wife to be.

JoJoYZF 08-03-2011 05:19 PM

2006 Acura RSX 5 Speed. Nothing too special but decent gas mileage and pretty fun to drive through anything twisty.
